Procedures and Limitations
Applicable to all requests for contributions:
- Requests must be submitted in writing to the Public Relations and Recycling Manager, accompanied by written proof of tax-exempt, charitable status, before request will be processed.
- Contributions are allocated to qualifying events/organizations on a first-requested, first-served basis, depending on availability of funds and/or containers, and within budgetary guidelines.
- Unless specifically provided for by contract, all Allied Waste Services contributions are voluntary. Allied Waste Services reserves the right to decline any request for contribution without explanation or justification.
- Requests for contributions are evaluated independently from year-to-year. A contribution one year does not automatically guarantee a contribution the next.
