No-sort recycling is here!
New recycling carts hit Eagle April 2010
Eagle City residents have the opportunity to recycle using blue, no-sort carts. Carts are available in three sizs: 95-, 65- and 48-gallons. A 95-gallon recycling cart is standard and will be delivered with each new account unless a smaller cart (65- or 48-gallon) is requested. Remember, recycling is collected every-other-week and it's best if you leave yourself some extra capacity. Recycling will remain unlimited. Additional materials may be set out in overflow containers labeled "recycling" and placed next to your recycling cart.
Here are some things to remember about your new recycling program:
1. Recycling collection is Every-Other-Week.
2. Look under your recycling cart lid to determine whether you are an ORANGE or BLUE customer. Once you know, please refer to the recycling collection calendar in your handour materials (Click Here for Calendar). The recycling calendar will outline all of your collection weeks for the entire year.
3. Use the decal under your recycling cart lid to help identify what can and cannot be recycled.
